Mr. Bill Swann
Director of International Development of the Brooke which he joined in
2001. Prior to the Brooke, Bill was Veterinary Consultant to the RSPCA
and also Head of the RSPCA’s Veterinary Division with responsibility
for the RSPCA’s veterinary hospitals and clinics. He has specialised in
developing animal welfare assessment processes. In 1997 he was a Member
of the British Delegation to the International Whaling Commission. From
1995 - 1996 he carried out an audit into hygiene and welfare standards
of the British Meat Industry. He has managed veterinary practices in
the UK including on the Isle of Man and also in Bermuda. He has
appeared often in the media, for example, 'Jonathan Dimbleby',
interview with Melvyn Bragg and CBS 'Sixty Minutes'. Ex director of the Brooke.
