Companion Animals in Health and Social Care Institutions
Increasingly it is recognised that companion animals can play an important role in the health and happiness of patients in hospitals, hospices and other institutions. There is a need to develop guidelines for the use of animals in these institutions so that the greatest benefit can be achieved for both animals and patient.
